It is ideal for prefiltration, reducing clogging of final filters, and can be used upstream of a sterilizing grade filter for viscous and difficult-to-filter solutions such as serum. This membrane provides exceptional throughput with high liquid flow rates at low differential pressures ensuring robust performance even in the most aggressive applications. The PP membrane is strong and flexible and will minimize the concern of fiber shedding and the leaching of extract ables into your sample.
